Success Academy for Independent Living (I-SAIL)

In Flight's Success Academy for Independent Living (I-SAIL) has a unique sequence of training programs designed for young adults in their 20s and 30s with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have aged out of school and are ready to transition to independent living. The I-SAIL Academy provides an additional support layer to skills learned in residential as well as within its subset programs Pre-Vocation (Pre-Voc) and Supported Employment (SEMP) with an additional focus on job retention.

The curriculum addresses the barriers to living independently and financial sustainability by inserting additional supports to address barriers to independent living such as:

  • Bill Paying
